A Quarterly Report of Full-Time Equivalent State Employees for the Quarter Ending February 28, 1995

There were 262,954 full-time equivalent state employees for the quarter ending February 28, 1994, according to reports filed by 210 state agencies. There were 242,917 full-time state employees and 63,765 part-time state employees.

The number of full-time equivalent state employees increased by 1,116 (or 0.43 percent) over the quarter ending November 30,1994.

The majority of the increase (1,130 FTEs) was in the Department of Criminal Justice, which is the result of staffing for new prison units.
